Canine heartworm disease (CHW): Canine heartworm disease is a mosquito-borne parasitic infection caused by Dirofilaria immitis, whose adult worms damage the pulmonary arteries, lungs, and heart and may cause coughing, exercise intolerance, weight loss, and heart failure.
Each test kit consists of a disposable dropper (for sample transfer to the test cassette), an assay buffer (for diluting the sample) and a test cassette. The test cassette is sealed in a pouch with desiccant. Each pack of 10 kits contains a user manual in English.
