CHARACTERISTICS
Polydioxanone monofilament absorbable synthetic thread.

Extended wound support – absorbable with prolonged tensile-strength retention.
Predictable absorption – absorbed by hydrolysis over a defined period.
Minimal tissue reactivity – biocompatible polydioxanone material, minimal tissue response.
Smooth monofilament – passes through tissue with minimal drag and reduced trauma.
Violet colour – high visibility against tissue for precise surgical procedures.
Reduced capillarity – minimal fluid wicking reduces fluid and bacterial transport.
Sterile packaging – safe for surgical use.

INDICATIONS
For veterinary use. Typically used for soft-tissue approximation and ligation where extended wound support is required, including muscle repair, fascial and abdominal-wall closure, selected fascial closures during hernia repair, subcutaneous or intradermal closure, and vessel ligation for haemostasis.
